Prestige. What's in a name? Websters defines "Prestige" as, respect associated with high quality and continuous dedication, by a person or product.
Prestige it is the moniker that decorates our shingle. However, the definition is the mission statement that sets the bench mark to which we strive.
Unequaled quality is just one third of our commitment. When partnered with higher than expected service and continued education, these charactoristics create the only BTV (boat transport vehicle) in the boating industry.
Careful design and quality control insure the durability and strength our customers have come to expect. Each BTV is constructed from the very best tubular cold rolled steel, that is thoroughly cleaned, primered, painted and finished to create a product that defines the standards by which all others are judged.
Our down home, common sense approach to the development of our BTVs' means they fill more than your need of a boat trailer. Truly, they are designed to fulfill our promise to make your dream a reality. And when it is all about getting there, nothing short of reaching the water is acceptable.
Regardless of how seasoned the boater, each experiences a moment of stress during every outing and it comes at the end of wonderful day on the water. It is time to load their boat. The busier the ramp or the more adverse the conditions, the higher the stress level. And every minute spent accomplishing this task, erodes at the smile the day has painted into their memory.
What exactly does that have to do with the trailer?? Everything. Your Prestige BTV features six carpeted bunks that are customized to fit only your make and model of boat. Our six bunks combine to create the perfect catchers mitt, leaving your boat no where to go but dead on center.
When you consider how much of your boats' life is spent on the trailer, our unique system helps distribute the weight of your boat over a broader surface, thereby reducing the gravitational stress on the hull.
The bottom line, though, is getting your baby to the water. To insure the smoothest, worry free ride, your BTV features a UFP torsion axle.
With its' use of bonded rubber, a torsion axle eliminates the squeaking, long associated with the use of a spring axle and because the torsion axle suspension it is independent from side to side, it will not transfer the energy created by imperfections in the pavement or rough railroad tracks, into the hull of your boat.
Torsion axles track true behind your tow vehicle, taking away the side to side sway typical of a spring axle, thus creating one of the best suspensions on the market today.
Should you experience a flat, a tandem or triple torsion axle trailer provides a benefit that will remain hidden and unappreciated until you need it. With a ramp constructed from three pieces of 2 X 6s place in front of or behind the good tire; roll up on it, and the flat comes right off of the ground. This ramp provides a stable platform to change the flat, even on less than level ground. It will also reduce the down time and exposure to traffic, while completing this task.
In fact, down time for this concern is cut virtually in half and I haven't met anyone yet that doesn't begrudge every minute spent changing a flat.
One of the standard features found on a BTV is step plates, fully extended to the rear of the trailer. Each step plate is topped with aluminum treadbrite, which allows easier and safer boat gear loading and unloading - and enhances the beauty of the trailer.
A non-skid safety walk on top of the fenders and the T-section behind the coupler has also been added. These allow the user to confidently step on the trailer with less chance of slipping or falling.
Our commitment to that promise begins long before you ever receive your trailer. From concept to completion, our BTVs come standard with a list of user friendly features and quality components unequaled in the industry.
Our galvanized trailers retain the same quality features as our painted trailers, and are some of the most eye catching. As the only BTV maufacturer, we are versatile enough to personalize your trailer to match your boat and/or towing vehicle.
It is universal knowledge that talk is cheap, so allow me to walk you through our thinking behind each of the features that come together in the making of a Prestige BTV.
